This incident caused the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody related to a theft at Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the injured during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Police detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault near the location. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several people injured by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - caused train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
